This is guide is about the Halloween event from 2010!!!
This guide is made by ingame name: ~HoNoR~
Step 1: Acquiring the Seal of Jack O' lantern:
Before you can get started on raiding, you need to get Jack O' lantern seals.
Here I will explain how u can obtain these seals:
First Gather 15X bags of treats.
You can obtain these bags by "trick or treating" a few NPC throughout the Nostale Cities.
You can get these bags from:
Act 1: Nosville:
Nosville Market: Eva Energy.
Fashion Boutique: Soraya Style.
Teo's Tool Shop: Teoman Topp.
Act 2: Mt. Krem:
Super Sale Store: Carven.
Luxury Goods: Cenil.
Act 3: Port Alveus Market:
Hot Bakery: Margaret.
Alice Beauty Shop: Alice Bellia.
Act 4: Frozen Crown: ( need 3K fee for the ship ).
Cold Ice Store: Amelia Glacia.
Act 5: Eagle City: ( need 30K fee for the ship and if you use warp tower a additional of 10K fee will be needed ).
Archaeologist: Roram.
Fortune Teller: Nuki.
If you visit all these NPCs then you will gather a total amount of 10X treat bags.
You can double this by using the Halloween scrolls that you can obtain from the Jack O' lantern raid or the Halloween Gift Box.
But by using the ships in act 3 to go to act 4 ( Frozen Crown) you will lose the scroll that you wear.
So you will need an additional Halloween scrolls to obtain all 20 bags of treats.
Halloween scrolls.
Once you gather enough bags of treats ( 15X ) then you can go to Benito Butler.
Located at Port Alveus Square at the bottom of the map.
Talk to him to exchange 15X bags of treats for a Halloween Gift Box.
In this box u can acquire 3 different things:
1. a Jack O' lantern seal.
2. Halloween Costume Scrolls.
3. Halloween Post Signs.
Depending on your luck you may get the seal.
Step 2: Making a raid team!
Now you obtained the seal its time to start raiding!
But first you must make a team to not only win the raid but also try to make it perfect!
The best team to make this raid and get it to a perfect ending with 0 deaths is:
2 Holy Mages + 2 normal mages + 11 jajas, makes a total of 15 members.
This way you should have enough healing and enough man (or shall I say "Tiny") power to beat the evil Jack O' lantern and hes minions.
*Tip: for the normal mages its handy to use Halloween scroll while raiding. it wil not only give u 600 damage on the boss
and 330 damage on hes minions.
It will also decrease incoming attacks from the dropping boss attack and hes minions.
And it allows u to move faster as well, since mages are very slow....
Step 3: Lets get started Raiding!!!
Once u made ure perfect team summon them up with the summon stone that can be bought at Malcome in Nosville.
Summons stones are also droped in ea raid in nostale afther finishing the boss.
Step to the portal to begin your raid.
In the first map u must pull the lever in the middel of the map.
Once pulled the portal to boss map wil open.
Inside u will find the Jack O' lantern waiting.
Mostly at first hit he wil jump up and ull see red cirkels on the ground.
These cirkels wil be one of the spots where the boss will land again.
so make sure u keep a save distance when u see the red cirkels.
Minions:
He wil also summon minions while ure fighting the boss.
Also known as: Jack O' Lantern Escort.
These minions are very anyoing in combination with the boss deadly attack is leathel.
Meaning: hes minions will attack everything and a side effect ( ore specail effect ) they have is the spider web.
Spider webs will pull u to the minion once u are near it, it will attack u.
* U will need full HP in order to survive the deadly attacks from the boss.
Bombs:
If u think hes minions are bad then u havent met hes bombs.
Very anyoing and very deadly when more goes off near u.
They are trigerd by aoe's ( area of effect ) this wil set off the bombs.
U better hide then XD.
U can compair these bombs with the mines from a destroyer card.
So dont use aoe's once the bomb's are summon't they wil disseaper in few second's.
Task's:
Mages main task is to heal not to attack.
Make sure all jaja's are fully health in orde to get no deaths from boss attack.
Jaja's main task wil be summoning tiny's and attack boss.
But there has been a bug that allouwed some jaja's tiny's to attack ea other.
When u know this, do not summon them u can beter use a Halloween scroll and u will do more damage in the process.
Keeping Deaths to a minimum and killing as fast as your team can wil dicide what rare of box u get.
Once u killed the boss, u will recieve the Jack O' lantern box.
And afther a few sec als some money and normal/high quality mats will drop along with the team summon stone.
