The All-Encompassing Guide To Winning Raids

THE ALL-ENCOMPASSING GUIDE TO WINNING RAIDS

Now why does Nostale need a guide like this, you ask? Well the answer is quite simple really, You can know everything there is to know about the raid but STILL mess up because you don't know the basics to not dying and making sure you perform efficiently as a member of your raid team. This simple guide will teach you how to not fail a raid for everyone!

THE RULES:
1) First and foremost, don't be a moron. Raids are fun, yes, but most people are in raids to win them unless otherwise specified. Don't go screwing around and ruin it for the team.
2) ALWAYS follow the leader's instructions.
3) Follow raid guides! If you can't find a raid guide, ask a friend of a high level who has done it.
4) Please, dear god, if you're the button-pushing assassin, know what buttons to push and when to push them. Get another assassin to tutor you if necessary.
5) Be prepared! Don't find out halfway through the raid you need something and rely on someone else having some.

THE BASICS:
1) If your job isn't incredibly important ( i.e. not a healer, designated tank, or button pushing assassin) If you are hurt to the point of almost death, Run to the back of the group. NOTE: DO NOT run around randomly. it gives healers a harder time to get to you.
2) ALWAYS stay in range of a healer. I don't care how beast your attack or defense is, it's likely not going to make a difference if you rush in there over your head.
3) Know your role and stick to it! If you want a change of role, ask the leader. But be aware that you're likely not going to find a back up.
4) Mages are usually equal to healer. DO NOT go anything but holy or normal unless otherwise specified.
5) Make sure you actually have time to do the raid! Try to identify anything that may interfere with your focus on the raid. If you have to go to dinner in 10 minutes and it's a 50 minute long raid, you probably shouldn't go.
6) Bring your BEST Pet! The only exception to this rule is in chicken raids. In that case, bring the suckiest pet you have.
7) Always bring at least some of the items in the following list!: (AKA: It's dangerous to go alone... Take this!)
- Pet Dolls (you never know when you need these.)
- Potions (obvious.)
- Foods and snacks (Helps you heal faster. ESPECIALLY for swordies so you're not sitting there for 5 minutes getting full health)
- Buff items such as attack/defense/energy potions or amulets/tarot cards (they can be helpful in a pinch)

8)Always stick with the group unless specified. The monsters in any raid were not meant to be killed alone! (unless you're a level 90 in jelly raids. But even then we still wonder what you're doing there.)
9) If you have an item someone else may need (items from the list in #7) try to give it to your teammates. They mean just as much as you do and you probably don't need to hoard 99 full potions for a jelly raid.
10) DO NOT Go afk unless you have absolutely no choice. Random phone calls and the bathroom are understandable but if you MUST afk, keep it short and sweet.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and good luck out there!
