1. Who Am I ?

Hello Nosville, I’m Judith¹, from the OLD times, used to play like 2 years ago with my swordie. Now I’m playing as Nuubi, my new main char, an archer. I hope I can help you guys with something I learned on these years I played this awesome game.

PS: If you are one experienced player this guide WON’T be so useful for you.
PS²: If you are one high level player, that only LOD, this guide WILL BE useful for you.

2. Intro

By this guide I want to show most of the new players, and medium level players some important features that we have in nostale. Then you go nostale.co.uk and look for Nuubi and see my level is only 50, yup it is, but Judi was level 71, so I have some experience to tell you guys.

3. Basics about Combat and Job Level

Combat level is the yellow bar on the bottom of the screen, and is this level that makes your character able to join TS, to farm raid seals, to get box from seals, to make PTS and BTS, to wear some equipments or accessories and to start SP Cards Quest.

The job level is the purple bar below of the combat level bar, and this level is the one that makes you able to buy new skills, wear your SP Cards.

4. Raids, BTS and PTS

So you just read CLVL makes you able to farm raid seals, make BTS and PTS, but you suddenly ask, what is this ? So here you go on a summarized way:

4.1 Raid: Raid is one special map, where you can join with a team of 15 people, you have to need the Seal and the CLVL to open the seal and start inviting people to your Raid. After your team is ready, you’ll need to go to a specific map with the whole team INSIDE that map and start the Raid. After started you’ll have time and objectives to do inside that Raid Map, like pulling levers and killing specific monsters to open the Boss Room. After the boss room is opened the whole team go in together to kill the boss of that Raid. Okies Judi, and so what ? Now the best part, after the boss is killed, it will drop lots of items like money, pts stone, full moons and each Raid Member with the RIGHT LEVEL will receive one box with one rarity and inside this box you get one item of the same rarity as the box or one gloves or shoes.

We have this:

Chicken King Raid
Objectives: Pull 7 levers / Kill 10 Rosters
Level for Box: 20 or more
Useful Classes: All, but specially Jajamaru and mages.

Jelly Raid
Objectives: Pull 3 levers / Kill 11 Cubies
Level for Box: 30 to 49
Useful Classes: Warriors, Normal Mages, Holy Mages, Normal Archers

Ginseng Raid
Objectives: Pull 7 levers / Kill 8 Giant Mandras
Level for Box: 40 to 59
Useful Classes: Loads of Warriors, Holy Mages, and one Assassin for button.

Dark Castra Raid
Objectives: Pull 6 buttons / Kill 22 DustDeaths
Level for Box: 50 to 69
Useful Classes: Light Element SP Cards, Crusader, Wild Keeper, Holy Mages.

Spider Raid
Objectives: Pull 14 buttons / Kill 7 Spiders
Level for Box: 60 to 79
Useful Classes: Light Element SP Cards again, Crusader, Wild Keeper, Holy Mages and some Warriors.

4.2 BTS: This is one Hidden Time Space that you need to find using downsing sticks, after you find it you’ll need some mats like seeds of power, wolf manes, pearl of darkness and the BTS Stone. You don’t have one specific level to enter, but need at least one member to open the BTS, for example, I’m level 50 and I usually have IamNinja lvl 66 and 00kibou lvl 70 partying me for BTS, so both of them can still open the 65~70 BTS and I join only as “helper” (as I don’t help at all). BTS have two purposes, exp if you are something like level 45~55 and M-O-N-E-Y, like BTS 65~70 rewards 47k each member.

4.3 PTS: This is another Hidden Time Space and again you’ll need to use downsing sticks to find it. To open it you’ll again need mats like seeds of power, new or half moons and the PTS Stone. Again you don’t have specific level to enter, but at least one member with the PTS level is needed to open it, for example, as I’m level 50 I can invite again IamNinja lvl 66 and 00kibou lvl 70 to help me on PTS, and I can open the 45~55 and the 50~60 and they join me as helpers. The purposes of spamming PTS are again money, but not as good as the BTS and Reputation.

5. SP Cards

This is one of the major attraction of this game, the cards. To understand what a card is: It is a variation of your class, but you don’t have to go straight for only one, as each class got 4 SP Cards, you can have all 4 and use all 4 right when you want to.

Here you go what element, level, jlvl and rep is needed to wear each card.

5.1 Swordsman:

1st SP Card – Warrior – Fire Element
Level to start quest: 36
Job Level to wear card: 20
Reputation needed: Red Trainee

2nd SP Card – Blade – Water Element
Level to start quest: 46
Job Level to wear card: 35
Reputation needed: Green Experienced

3rd SP Card – Crusader – Light Element

Reputation needed: Red Experienced

4th SP Card – Berserker – Dark Element

5.2 Archer:

Job Level to wear card: 20
Reputation needed: Red Trainee

2nd SP Card – Assassin – Dark Element
Level to start quest: 46
Job Level to wear card: 35
Reputation needed: Green Experienced

3rd SP Card – Destroyer – Fire Element
Level to start quest: 55
Job Level to wear card: 50
Reputation needed: Red Experienced

4th SP Card – Wild Keeper – Light Element
Level to start quest: 65
Job Level to wear card: 55
Reputation needed: Green Battle Soldier

5.3 Mage:

1st SP Card – Red Mage – Fire Element
Level to start quest: 36
Job Level to wear card: 20
Reputation needed: Red Trainee

2nd SP Card – Holy Mage – Light Element
Level to start quest: 46
Job Level to wear card: 35
Reputation needed: Green Experienced

3rd SP Card – Blue Mage – Water Element
Level to start quest: 55
Job Level to wear card: 50
Reputation needed: Red Experienced

4th SP Card – Dark Gunner – Dark Element
Level to start quest: 65
Job Level to wear card: 55
Reputation needed: Green Battle Soldier

6. Basics of Element & Resistance

In nostale, we have 4 elements, they are Fire, Water, Light and Dark. The resistance is the % you’ll have by wearing gloves and shoes from a specific element and by buffs or equips. This % is upgraded by summing shoes or gloves and you’ll check right below.

7. Summing Gloves and Shoes

Summing gloves or shoes is when you get 2 shoes or 2 gloves and mix them getting a new % from resistance.
For example, you get 2 shine shoes from Jelly Raid box, you go to Malcolm and select the icon with a glove and a +, then you put one shoe on the left square and one on the right square, you’ll need to add sands of Dona river and gold (more and more) for each try. At the first time you sum those 2 shoes, you got one 100% probability to work, so for sure you’ll have one sum1 shine shoes, it means your shoes has already been summed to another one.

This is a Table showing how many sands you’ll need, the % of chance to work, the amount of gold.

-----------------------------------Sands of Dona river-------------------Gold-------------------------------------Success Rate

sum1-----------------------------------5---------------------------------1,500----------------------------------------100%
sum2-----------------------------------10--------------------------------3,000----------------------------------------100%
sum3-----------------------------------15--------------------------------6,000----------------------------------------085%
sum4-----------------------------------20--------------------------------12,000---------------------------------------070%
sum5-----------------------------------25--------------------------------24,000---------------------------------------050%
sum6-----------------------------------30--------------------------------48,000---------------------------------------020%

8. Buying Skills & Upgrades

When you are one adventurer, you’ll earn the skills as you increase your job level, but when you choose your class, you’ll need some CP’s and money to get your skills.
So Judi, what you mean by CP’s ? This CP’s you’ll receive as you level your normal job level, for each level you receive 2 CP’s, so you go to Calvin Coach and choose the Skills Tab. You’ll notice you got lots of skills to buy, but each skill asks for some amount of gold and one specific job level.
Lemme explain with an example, if you are one archer you got 5 CP’s and job level 1 you’ll be able to buy Elaborated Shot but with the same job level you wont be able to buy Intoxicate Dagger as it requires 8 CP’s.

9. Buying at PSA

Not only the NPC's sell items and equips, you can also buy them from your fellow players. But as a seller wants profit you can find overpriced stuffs at the private shops, here i'll try to give you some tips when your destiny is the PS.

- Just visit the PSA when you really need some stuff like a new weapon, a new armor or robe or that seeds of power, this way you wont spent money with stuffs that aren't necessary for you.
- Know the prices. This is a must have you need to have (ORLY), not because its an R7 weapon it's worth 6 million. Ask one experienced player or check forums for prices.
- Visit more than 5 shops. You can find Speaker for 16,999k and then you think WOW i'll buy, so u buy and see the shop beside and the Speaker is 14,999k there, can you see u just lost 2k ? 2k plus 2k and one day you'll loose 2milliion.

10. Finishing

So, here i finish this guide, took me 2 days to finish it and edit, hope you can enjoy and use this tips, tables and words to benefit and make your gameplay experience better.
